Gavin Rogers
Gavin is a British Triathlon level 3 Coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer and qualified Sports Massage Therapist.
He was the Founder and coach to didsbury tri club for 4 years. Gavin can now be found swim coaching with Manchester Triathlon Club and Warrington Tri as well as personal coaching a number of top age-group athletes.
His reasons for starting coaching include a passion for endurance sports and a love of watching people progress from Novices into sprint, olympic or long distance athletes. Gavin started competing in triathlon back in 1994 in order to get fit to join the para's and hasn't stopped since. One of his proudest moments was exiting from the swim at Ironman Austria in a time of 55 mins and he recently finished 50th out of 2,000 competitors at Ironman South Africa in a time of 9 hours and 51 mins.
