Aquasphere Mako Wetsuit

The Mako Fullsuit was developed in cooperation with our top-athletes, product engineers and designers for beginners and hobby-athletes, with the aim to create the best cost-performance-ratio within the market.

For maximum flexibility and unhampered movement the Mako is made almost entirely of Yamamoto SCS Nanoskin complemented by sections of Neoskin ENSS.

The neoprene thickness is 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1.5mm

• ENSS-012+F04 standard nylon lining (total 5.0mm - shoulder)
• 2.0mm smooth SCS black Yamamoto lining/standard nylon lining (total 3.5mm - chest)
• Double lined superstretch (total 2.0mm - arms)
• ENSS-012+F04+standard nylon lining (total 4.0mm - back and legs)
• 3.0mm smooth SCS black Yamamoto/standard nylon lining (total 3.5mm - lower back)
• ENSS-012+F04+standard nylon lining (total 4.0mm - calfs)
• Double lined stretch (total 3.0mm - shins)

220 Triathlon Review     "The Mako represents outstanding value at a little over a hundred quid. It's a well made suit with no obvious corners cut during its production. The suit comprises varying thicknesses of Yamamoto SCS Nonoskin neoprene...the neck of the suit is low cut and didn't leave any chafing marks. As with many wetsuits on the market, a longer zip would help. Overall, not bad but more useful for a svelte athlete than for a former swimmer turned triathlete with heavy legs."
