Aquathlon - Saturday Aug 23, 2008

In conjunction with the Open Water Swim Training Day being held at Salford Keys on Saturday, Aug 23, TriCentral will also  be running two aquathlons which are open to anyone who has signed up to the TriCentral.co.uk email database.

This will provide you with a great oppertunity to practise the swim and run disciplines at race pace, and both novice and experienced entrants are welcome. 

The swim will be held in Dock 9 of Salford Quays - the same dock where the Salford Triathlon takes place - and will consist of a 750m swim and a 5k run.

The first aquathlon will start at 12.30pm and the second one at 3pm. The cost is £6 per entry.

Changing facilities will be available at the Salford Watersports Centre.

BlueSeventy will also be on hand throughout the day for anyone wishing to trial a wetsuit or goggles.
